Ask Roy if this is the fans forum or the clubs? - I know what Roy would say and we have seen the clubs influence on this site.

 

Also the request for a comment from Eddie was addressed directly to him, and I belive that there is a need for him to make his comments about the current situation, rather than only talking to the fans when things are going well.

 

If Eddie does not wish to make a comment then how about a comment from Roy or Bernard?

 

The fans are the customers - how about some customer service?

If I was a customer, I'd be speaking to the manager(s) in person to voice my concerns....

 

Thing is SR, any comments made on here only reach a small amount. I know the forum is read by a number of players and the management of the club also, so if they feel the need to comment on here, they will.

 

I'm sure the more professional approach of submitting information through the local press/website will come out though. I'm also sure that they are all working as hard as they can to get this sorted out. They know what the problems are, but they will know what limitations and restrictions they're working to. We don't.

So if I was a customer of a company, and that company did not communicate with me to reasure me of its ability to deliver the product I was paying for, and was in a questionable finacial situation to see out its commitments for its current period of trading, I would have to consider at what point to stop paying for its product and find a company that at least communicated with me and even delivered a product of a suitable quality.

 

If this was a product other than football how many customers would Slough Town FC have?

 

Now here we have an intresting situation.

 

If the club dont want to talk it risks alienating the fans, so some communication from the club would be wise.

 

I await the communication - last contact with fans by Martyn Deaner - 6th August 2004 - I will not hold my breath!

When I referred to information in my above post, I was referring to information in terms of comments about the game from the management and hopefully points of resolution.

 

We'd not be foolish enough to wait for any other kind of information to come from the club... Mind you, this could be the kick up the backside we all need to get ourselves in gear and have a unified goal to all aim at. Certainly hope so.

oh, I haven't even said 10% of what I really want to. But if that's the attitude then I'm happy to go elsewhere for my football fix because god forbid one of our fans looks it realistically rather than constantly sticking up for that shower of sh1te like we saw today. And my snidey rubbish walked 62 miles for Slough Town, which i'm sure is a lot more than most people who hide behind their computer screens do

its not you Phil, its just I'm well and truly pissed off and I'm not going to sugar coat it for the forum. Maybe I should have done what I said in my head before coming home and not posted until the morning but what's done is done. I'm not going to be watching Slough for the foreseeable future and after today's performance I think a few more will be thinking along the same lines

Just to say hi from Florida...and wilma is to arrive here in 24 hours ! ....

 

Staines rebel..while you may have the right to ask the manager/ as Gary has indicated its best to ask him face to face ..he is a good man...while you are frustrated and maybe lots of the supporters are...surley you knew what type of season we were to have..reduced budgets etc etc and the club trying its best to survive..its going to be a hard hard season their is no doubt about it.... if you can;t stand the heat maybe you should support another team...its all about supporting you team through thick and thin times..

 

But as soon as you start to critise the manager then you are fair game...to all on here...

 

Its hard for all and a face to face meeting with your team manager would be best..so you can get a direct answer...

 

Hope we can all pull together and get the rebels back to winning ways...
