Yes this season is disappointing so far, but no need to panic. Not in the relegation zone, had a great season last season, but lost players and have a reduced Budget. Were not ganna be able to attract the type of players we were last season. Would we rather us spend OTT on players and then run out of money in the last part of the season? I think not.

We've done well under Eddie after the Browne era and it's his first really bad spell.

It's ganna take time for the team to settle and they are young and learning. Eddie will get it right...

when is he though? Not one sngle player looked like he knew what the f*ck they were doing, where they were going and that responsibility falls squarely on the shoulders of the manager. What magical substitutions has Eddie made which have made a difference to a game? What tactical changes has he made during a game to change the game? Take today, leaving your top scorer at the back, putting a midfielder up front and leaving a defender in midfield - that is not the sign of a tactical genius, more like someone who doesn't know what in the blue f*ck he's doing.

I think it's little harsh.

Yes performances are absolutely toilet and yes some tactical decisions are questionable (especially today), but like said above it's Eddie's first bad spell and with very little resources and no strength in depth, a couple of injuries and were struggling, it's going to be a long season. I think were all going have to bite our tounges and bare with it.

"So Eddie, what formation are we playing? Why do none of the players have a clue what they're meanto to be doing? Why is Avery still playing? Why is our best player playing in defence?" I'm sure he'd love to hear those sort of questions. And after the game, I've got better things to be doing with my time

The question I asked was aimed directly at Eddie.

Will Eddie himself as the Manager of the team please reply - those with contacts in the club can they please raise this with him so that he can reply here - on the clubs forum , about the performance of the clubs team that he manages, to those that put their hands in their pockets every week so support the club.

Woeful today, really not at the races at all and for the first time I'd question commitment as well as form. Josias, for me, was the only one who could hold his head up at the end.

I thought Hodgey at the back was odd although wouldn't criticise Eddie as I've mentioned for a while about Ballard in midfield. I would question why he didn't throw Hodgey back forward once it became apparent it wasn't working though.

As dire as today's performance was though (and other recent one's like it) there's two courses of action open to me as a supporter. I can let the frustration get the better of me and say "b*llocks to this, I'm off to Burnham on Tuesday". To be honest I'll blame nobody for choosing that option or for staying away for a while. It's painful when you see the club you love performing so badly and not being there to see it detaches you from it and minimises the pain.

Kay and I have talked about it however and we're off to Redbridge on Tuesday night. It's now more than ever they need us and it's now we prove our worth as supporters. Like I say, I'm not criticising anyone who decides not to go but I feel it's now we need to stand up and be counted.

SR - this is a fans forum. I will try and speak with Eddie between now and Redbridge and put some questions to him, but things like this can, and should, be addressed with Eddie and the management of the club directly. After all, only a quarter (roughly) of our support views this message board.

You cant blame Eddie for 11 blokes who couldnt manage to put 2 passes together. I lost count of the number of times we gave the ball away.

But you can blame him for playing our centre forward who wins the headers at the back & then (presumably) instructing the playes to 'lump it' . Josh & Matt were mudered by their 4 & 5 who totally dominated them.

And how many saves did thier keeper make, whats with the sudden total fear of getting a shot in ?

(I thought Wilko was far & away our best player).

Phil, it's not a sudden fear at all. The only save I can remember a keeper making against us this season is the Croydon keeper last week saving a curling effort from Carbon. We've been very shot shy for some time, extending way back into last season.

Ive seen all the home games this season Gary & none have been as bad as today, but you are right it is a problem.

We did have a few chances around the edge of the box today, but no one took the opportunity to get a shot in.

That could be down to the Manager, does he ruck them if they miss , there seems to be real fear there ?
