Will be interesting to see how many Slough fans go there, rather than make a journey to Redbridge.

Quite gutted our Redbridge match didn't get moved to last Saturday as I'd have been able to offer to film it for Burnham and also not have a nightmare journey on the train from Wokingham to Barkingside on Tuesday. Can't wait.

If you guys are going to Burnham on Tuesday for our replay could anyone tell me how to get there from Wycombe on Public Transport? (Without going in and back out of London on the train!)

I've just moved here for Uni you see, so haven't had much of a chance to see Canvey play in a while and today's events have made this one possible to attend.

Cheers, for anything helpful.

hi there friends. getting to burnham a doodle bus 74 to farnham road northbough road i thnk there are only a few buses to this place but arriva keep changing there times slightly. it may evon be better going on to near safeways and walking to near macdonalds and picking up a number 1 little purple bus . stops near there and in buckingham avenue pretty close every 10 minutes normaly until 1900 when most buses wind down and this bus can drop you at bottem of burnham high street. while walking to the top hoast of pubs if you have time . garibaldi pretty good. five bells normaly ok george ye old swan ta kiroes bar not sure right spelling and further up the red lion and the bee. best for reel ale prob five bells or bee. then tun left up gore road to the end and normaly blinded by the lights of the ground. best to ignore all roads left and right until crossroads turn right and you get blinded a bit and you see all excess cars and ground.

5a leave farnham road northbrough about just around 1800 or so straight to ground by about 1830 can be early and desective as times and wether they run dodgey and should think more about the one at buckingham avenue.

getting back could be a prob normaly no buses excepct 2137 from bottem of village or so 3 to slough calls at red squirall pub close to rail station for 2150 last definate train to maidenhead as repaicement buses normaly slough burnham maidenhead ext after this time.

then approx 2240 to bourne end and 2315 approx last bourne end 315 to high wycombe. very tight timings realy. could anyone drop you to maidenhead from there as definatly know can catch last conecting bus and train.

if you want bus times if still on computer can find bucks 74 ext from bucks countie website.

take care dave programes

Thanks for that Dave, I've noted it all down and will check times and plan it tomorrow.

Last resort will be a taxi, either that or a Uni screening of Sin City <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Is Alison Tedman still teaching Film at Wycombe Uni, MattCIFC? She was feckin useless!

Well done to Matty Miller. Looks like he's back to enjoying his football and scoring goals. Shame it didn't happen for us because I'm sure he would have become an absolute legend.

I should be travelling home from Wycombe Uni bout 8.45 so hope to catch the 2nd half of Burnham if I can get parked! Otherwise I would have gone to watch us at Redbridge. But if I can get there in time for the 2nd half i'll support my local team!

Yes she is. Lead Academic for Year 3! So I won't have her for two years yet.

Didn't want to start a new thread just for this, but seeing as it's regarding Burnham and the FA Cup etc...

Had to giggle when watching the draw - poor old Walsall away at a non-league club again, this time Merthyr! Wonder if they're looking forward to that?

Re: Matt Miller, it seems to be an even better achievement given that the paper said he was laid up in bed with flu this week. Well done Matty. And I thought Burnham/Canvey were a little unlucky with the draw. Best of luck to them though. Aldershot will obviously bring a strong away following, but it'll be a tough one. And was the crowd really only 363 for Canvey v Burnham yesterday!?

Well done and good luck Folkestone, Braintree and Ramsgate - away ties at Chester, Shrewsbury and Nuneaton/Tiverton respectively. Funny to think that this time last year we were preparing for our game with Salisbury, with Paul Merson watching on in the stand and Sky cameras present. Truly emphasises the highs and lows of non-league football.

To answer Matts post, we understand there was between 600 - 700 at the Canvey game, looks like the smaller club getting short changed again by the bigger club, but what do you expect ?

Many thanks for your support and best wishes it is appreciated by the Burnham supporters (all 6 of us ha ha)

Go get Redbridge on Tuesday you can do it, i know it is hard some times when things are not going your way but you MUST remain united, you can do it, keep the faith people.

Best wishes from all at Burnham for the rest of the season.

UP THE REBELS
