Incoming players

Any news yet .... thought signings had to be completed and with respective leagues before 12.00 mid-day on Friday to be eligble for Saturday...... might have this wrong ....... so anyone know if we have one, two or three signed in time ?

 

Still like to know where the money comes from to keep doing this <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

What money ? We've let players go and brought some in to replace them so I suspect that in most cases it's been like for like with the wages.

Last week we only had 2 subs, one of those a keeper. We have an academy in its third year, surely by now we must be getting a player or two coming through. This would cost the club much less than bringing in "journeymen" for a short period (or on non contract) that no one else wants, we play them, pay them and send them back better players.

 

When I think of Simon, Chris, Ricky, Matt, Jake, Craig, Greg ....... sorry guys I'm getting carried away again <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

You may not be aware, but some at the club do put the odd few pounds in, sponsor games etc which all help to build a good squad, give a good performance,which increases the attendance and at the end everybody goes home happy.

It will mean different things to different people but as you are in the know you figure it out for yourself ....

 

 

....and I have heard today that an income stream recently discussed amongst loyal supporters has been confirmed as correct .... no wonder we haven't heard much about fundraising for the past two years <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
