I have decided that I am not going to go to Geneva and I cancelled my ticket this morning, but I will be going to the Lane for this game.

 

Where's the best place to sit at the Lane?

There's no such thing as a bad seat really, except if you get caught behind one of the two pillars in the East Stand Lower. But these are sold as Restrictive Viewing anyway.

 

West Stand Upper is best view, but most expensive.

 

My seat in the East Lower is a bloody good view. Five rows back on the half-way line.

Grimsby cost me £17, mate! And got me five loyalty points. And wasn't a meaningless friendly costing me in excess of £200!!

 

Have you seen the figures for next years' World Cup? We're only getting 8% of the tickets per game.

 

In a 60,000 capacity stadium, we'll only get 7,500 tickets for our fans.

Fingers crossed you do manage to get more than one match, but from where I'm sitting, it's looks like you're spending one hell of an outlay in the vain hope of being able to follow us around Germany next Summer.

There are actually several thousand people below me caps wise, with the 2 I get for Geneva I reckon I'll have enough for at least 1 or 2 games.
