Being in Brighton I went to a few of Burgess Hill FA Vase games with gates of over a thousand, pretty good for a club in the Sussex County League. One of the reasons was that the club gave free tickets to the local schools. Why don't Slough do the same for the Canvey game?

I got into supporting Slough with a group of about 20 of us who used to go when we were teenagers and it became part of our social scene to go to matches, so give free tickets to schoolkids, get some of them hooked and you could have some supporters for ever. And if they see a game as good as the Hampton match....
