I understand died in a car crash.

For those not old enough, Haynesy was a part of the Johnny Haynes and his seven dwarfs at Fulham in the late 50s early 60s, the greatest passer of a football acknowledged by all, and captain of England before Bobby Moore.

I'm gutted!

Haynesy R.I.P.

Sad to hear the news yesterday and missed seeing him play by 1 year i think ,as my first visit to the cottage was in 1969.However was fortunate to meet the man in my teens ,a real gentleman of the game.Unfotunately i have seen Jimmy Hill play and its a memory i like to forget.
