A real shame to lose Annon was hopeing alot of our defecive problems may have been righted with his return.

Annon is a good lad, and CK must have thought so to make him captain. Sorry to see him go, but you can't have everybody. As for Rocky, he never seemed to try very hard did he? And my hamster can jump higher. Good long passes, but we had nobody at the time who could use them.

I agree both Rocky and Che would have scored freely in this division and as we can see Rocky is scoring well in the league above us.

Darren Annon was a good Conference player and captain in Conference South until his injury.

He is a versatile defender, just the type you need when other defenders pick up injuries.

Retaining good players is important, it is more straight forward than the pitfalls of experimenting with unknown and untried prospects.

Good players should only be replaced by players who are better.

I think you have to admit that Rocky was a very talented player but forwhatever reason MFC did not get the best out of him after his first season.

I am more than happy with Ameoko and Remy.

More importantly, i feel the midfield(esp when Gradley and deen play there ) is vastly improved on last season, and without a decent midfield making the chances, no matter how good you are,you wil not score many.

Rocky and Che in front of this years midfield would have loved it, but again, Remy and Adolf should get better and better.

Shame about Darren,, but guess that was always on the cards if MFC did not offer him a contract early part of season.Agree his versatility would have been a real asset, and certainly excellent cover at full back for Gregs too numerous injuries

I'm sure he will just a shame he couldn't do it for Margate. Good job you didn't watch us when Phil Collins and Lee Williams played for us. They got terrible abuse from the crowd but were big enough to prove us wrong. Your both entitled to your views on certain players, let others have there views.

As you say, we all have different views, but effectively in 2003/4 after joining, Rocky was the most influential player in saving us fro mrelegation.

As almost top scorer last season ,let alone his assists he did not do bad either.

I'm sure he could have done more, but so can every player and all of us.

He was a class act imo

After wacthing rocky last season i was glad to see the back of him.He was lazy and had no emotion.Remember the players who gave their all to try and get a result, wether it be a draw or a win, promotion or relegation,Some of these players were slagged off every other week, but always gave it their best.
