gate wait on big delivery

For those not in the area ,this is the headline on the back page of the thanet times.The big delivery is the letter from the FA to confirm that every thing is in order after the club agreed details with its creditors two months ago. KP is quoted as saying, "I know The FA need to recieve a copy first,to make sure there are no footballing debt-which there is'nt-so perhaps thats why we are still waiting."The delays have already cost the club a 250,000 pound grant from the stadia investment fund,this now as to be re applied for. He also said that they are amending the plan for the 5 a side pitches and are hoping to cover 6 of them.The Company had a full meeting last week and are working flat out on a business plan.Mr piper also said he remains optimistic of the development of Hartsdown park will start by the end of the year.

i bloody wish the club would be more at 1 with the fans and give us this info as priority as we are the ones who have been through the tough times too!

 

i feel that we are 2 completely seperate bodies when we should be as 1!!!!!!

Well be given an update tomorrow night I would guess. Wouldnt hurt for us to be told before the meeting though. Delaying messages till an appropriate time to boost morale isnt really playing nicely.

I think speedier info on the playing front would be welcomed.

e.g the club site has no mention of Donovan yet,and we would like to know whats hapened to Corbett

KP will re-iterate that from the Thanet Times & will not be able to comment on players if CK isnt there so I fail to see what,if anythng, else can be told to us.We can put questions to KP of course but I doubt the answers will satisfy us.We are talking in the main about the players but as I have said I am sure he will keep a tight lip on that and pass the buck to CK who appartently isnt attending.Is there any point in going,apart from being able to say hello to each other.

If I am feeling fit enough (off sick) then maybe I will anyway and sure others will too, just in case we are told something new that HASNT come out in the press.
