Hmmm!

How can Aztec Camera and the Cocteau Twins be so low and Wet Wet Wet so high?

There are some bands there I haven't heard of for years, Goodbye Mr Mackenze, Blue Nile, The Pastels, Trash Can Sinatras

Good to see Bis in the Top 20

Didn't realise The Shamen were scottish????

Good point there gertcha!

i don't think Mr C liked Beavers much, he told him the lyric to Ebeneezer Goode were thought provoking or something!

And as we're name dropping fruitbat asked me to be one of his buddies on myspace <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

You should actually read the book mate, regardless whether you like Carter or not, it's actually very good

Bandwagonesque by Teenage Fan Club was a corker, was the Grand Prix album better than that?

Number one jock album in the parameters of this list surely has to be Screamadelica by Primal Scream (not even on the list).

I'd also add the Marychain's second album, 'Darklands', in the top ten at least. Sometimes it's my top album of all time and sometimes it seems trite.

And no Eurythmic albums at all?

It's a list compiled by clods for clods who have nothing better to do with their time.

Anyone remember Lord Rockingham's XI ? They had a big hit with 'Hoots Mon' ("there's a moose loose aboot this hoose!").

Scot or not? A new H&J Friday quiz?
