i herd talks about stevenson going to borremwood. do you think he could have done a job if he was given a chance.

 

and nyman will score goals for illford all he needs is his confidence back, i wounder how much longer hammit can rely on reputation ?

Yes I think Nyman will score goals for Ilford if he does join them. He just has not been given a chance so far this season. The manager obviously didn't have any confidence in his strikers that guided him from the Essex Senior League last season, surely he should have been loyal first, given them a fair crack at the whip, then make changes if it wasn't working. But he has not.

 

As for BH,well what can you say,14/17 starts and

3 goals,what more can you say,any other manager

would say,'your not doing it at the moment,gonna

give another striker ago'that would make any striker more determined to get himself back on form and back in the goals. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />

Well its going to be to late how can we let another two players leave after only 3 months of the season, i still think richard howard was the one we needed to try and keep !! intead we did nothing !

 

Steve baldwin deserves to be treated with alot more respect, remember what he did for us last year how quick JC has forgotten !

Nyman has a goal ratio of 1 every 233 mins and a goal and assist ratio of 1 every 133. THis is across his ETFC career.

This season - 2 goals (+ 1 in a friendly) (313 mins played) Nyman has a goal ratio of 1 every 157 mins (no assists)

8 appearences, 5 as sub and sub'd twice. Started and finished 13% of his 8 appearences

 

Hammatt - 3 goals (This season 1165 mins played) has a goal ratio of 1 every 388 mins and a goal and assist ratio of 1 every 291.

14 appearences, 1 as sub and subd 3 times. Started and Finished 71% of his 14 games

 

 

All this information is freely available on my stats pages on the ETFC web page. I accept that stats can say anything and do not say anything about attitude, work rate, team spirit or anything else for that matter. I just put this here without comment.

Thats impressive stats jim,i must say,but the question is,if Nyman was to be playing more,and confidence was there,could he score goals,and make goals.Last season Nyman was assisting quite

a few of the teams goals as well as scoring,and his work rate,and

commitment was fantastic.He does give the team that little bit extra up front when he is playing,

you feel something is going to happen,when he is on the pitch.

Whats anyone elses view?

IT SAID STEVENSON IS IN TALKS WITH BOREAMWOOD AND NYMAN WITH ILLFORD AFTER THE CLUB RECEIVIED 7 DAY TRANSFERS FOR THEM
