Problem!

Recommended Posts

I have a bit of a problem, Annie is down on Saturday and I want to spend the day drinking with her but I've promised a couple of mates (they don't come on here) I'd take them to the Newport game (first timers)

Any ideas of any good excuses I can come up with to put them off. Work is a no no as one of them knows a work mate.

I was thinking of saying I'd signed up for a Open University course and need to crack on with some coursework

Ideas please?

It wouldn't affect your cred with me if you brought Annie to t'Park, EFMTFTV. Problem solved.

The other week, I suggested to the Executive in charge of Minor Matters at AFF Towers that she should come to watch London Irish at Reading. She has no interest in sport whatsoever, but agreed to come, nevertheless. In the car en route she said "Are there seats at this place?". I replied "Yes. there are plastic patio chairs at one end beside the pitch which are available for 50p and we will sit on those." she then said "Is there any cover, there?". I replied that "there is a bit of an awning thing over some of the chairs and if we hurry, we can sit under it."

For those who don't know, London Irish play at the Majeldski Stadium.
