I presume he must have been forced to field a weakened midfield quartet instead of the usual star performers.

 

Did he go with Lennon, Carrick, Jenas and Davids or did he opt for Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard and Cole ?

It's not quite a crisis on the same scale as Arsenal yet!

 

We have all the bottom 3 in the next 4 games so we'll see if it's a blip or whether September was an indian summer, I suspect the former!

Arsenal are a club in deep trouble. Give it a few weeks and they won't even be able to sell out Highbury, due to their poor results. The knock on effect will see Henry leave in the summer, and they'll be playing to a three quarters empty new stadium next season.

 

Still, at least in 2007/08 they will be able to renew their rivalry with Leeds and Everton in the Championship. Presuming of course that they haven't gone bust in the meantime.

the [****!!****] have a whole generation of new boy glory hunters as fans.. they will be off the chelsea once mid table obscurity beckons and 3 points arnt the norm.. spurs will resume their rightful place as the top team in north london. hopefully it will go to form and the team that builds a new ground will go bust.

Highbury is actually up for sale on the weekend of 29/30 October in the form of flats/apartments "with a two acre garden".

Arsene was advertising it on Talkbollox tonight.
