Team for Wealdstone

Just time before breakfast to play Ron Manager and be a bit 'controversial'

Mitten,

Braithwaite Kola Ryan Smith (or Donovan) Standen

McGowan (or Keister) Deen, Sacha

Remy Ameoko

Assumes Kola fit and Oates not fit.

Difficult to choose 2 out of 3 between McGowan, Keister and Sacha.

Sacha just gets in as he can score from free kicks or long range and so gives something extra.

Deen is a MUST in defensive midfield and so left to chose between McGowan and JK.

Standen definately worth perservering at left wingback.

Right wing back harder if Greg unfit ,but in his 20 minute cameo there Leon looked comfortable and did he not start for us in midfield about 5 seasons ago?

Not sure who else would go there,if Brown left.

It is a waste to play Deen there imo as he is so much more effective when he is in the game more in defensive midfield

I think Adolf is showing the pace up front that Leon used to bring, but Leon does bring that extra stability .calmness and control to the team,si i'd give it a further go at wingback

I understand Dean Standen may have had a decent game at Bashley, but I think you need more than one game against lower status opposition who were down to ten men for 88 minutes before saying he fits the bill at the back.

One of our problems has been that, due to various reasons, we have not been able to field a settled team. I would rather we did not tinker with the back line against a team like Wealdstone who score plenty of goals (though often let in even more).

CK was reported as saying that his man-of-the-match(wheres our m.o.t.m. gone?)was Standen. It does seem like he is getting preferential treatment as of up to Saturday his form was consistently bad. However, with the reports from Saturday his new role(no matter haw many men,or who we were playing)seems to have brought the best out of him and therefore I think CK will continue to persist with him in that role.Keister is a must to start in midfield. Maybe both Smith & Donavon at the back with Edwards and Ryan.Keister joined in midfield by(i.m.o,a must play) Sacha, together with McGowan & Deen.Up front I would stick with pace and have both Sessay & Amaoke up there.

Mitten

Edwards

Ryan-Smith-Donavan-Standen

Deen-Keister-Mcgowan

Sessay-Amaoke.

Subs Hilaire,Brathewaite,Remy,Egan,Kola(more time).

Thats how this Ron manager would play it but I am not THE manager and we all know how roughly CK will line them up.

We have two very very important league games coming up and it should be fair to say that 6 points must be obtained from these two particular games.

I do beg your parden CF I was in fact talking about our next two HOME games.I forget we have away games in between, sorry.I was meaning the two next home games should bring us hopefully, full points. Agree with you, therefore that a point at Fisher would be as good as a victory and even a point at Braintree would be too.. Sorry for the misunderstandng.

Full points in our next two HOME games was what I was meaning. Apologies.
