I remember the last time i saw city play newport, possibly the best 3 minutes of football i have ever witnessed, it even betters the great 20 mins at stockport.

What was it? 7 or 8 coaches up from the valleys (not!), Dai Hard and the Tash Squad, drummers pounding away throughout the game, and a superb strike from Ben Strevens that bounced over the goalkeeper's outstretched dive. Great stuff!!

I have a feeling it may of been on the same day as a England game early kick off as everyone was hammered, I remember nothing of the game and people still talk about that game as being a classic.

 

That was the first of 3 games in a row (I think) that had some significance about the teams we were playing, any guesses????
