FIREWORKS at Park Lane...!!!

Sorry Guy's but at the risk of offending the unofficial Forum Police for using this as a "Social Noticeboard", here goes.

 

As a fundraiser for the supporters club we have organised a firework party for the evening of Friday 4th November at Park Lane.

 

Gates will open from 6-30pm and there is a profesional disco till late, BBQ and Jacket Spuds and a Pyrotechnic Extravaganza from 8-00pm.

 

Admission on the night is £3 Adults, £1 Kids and £2 for Club Members.

 

On a footy note FA Cup 1st round proper the next day, and hopefully a nice easy home game after we trounce Burnham to a pulp this saturday. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Really sorry guys about the FA Cup bit at the end. Anyway can we all try and get down the Lane with the sprogs on Friday for a cheap night out and a bit of fun and bring as many friends with kids just so they know where Park Lane is.

We have a great variety of fireworks and i think it is great value for money with a Big BBQ and top local DJ spinning the tunes till late.

you can still come on saturday and watch the reserves, usually lots of goals and there may be some first teamers in

A big thankyou to everyone who turned up at the lane last night and judging by the reaction and many, many comments since, proves it was a great success.

Over 400 came along and saw an awesome non-stop display of serious fireworks for over 30 minutes, accomponied by some excellent classical and dramatic music (Good selection Glen) someone likened it to the Last night of the Proms.

The disco rocked till late and i can't remember the club being so full till so late before.

The dozens of kids loved it all, including Del & Richards BBQ'd burgers & hot dogs.

All in all a good night's entertainment and £614-50 profit for the club.
