More money for players NOW

Without an injection of money quickly the team will risk relegation! Maybe a daming statement, but with recent performances or lack of them this may be the case I fear.

 

Is it not now that the new company "Thames Valley Sports" needs to show its commitment and invest some money into the future of its venture?

 

We know the money from Martyn Deaner is starting to dry up and alternative income from "Russian Bankers" is in its infancy, so those who wish to run the company should be putting their money where there mouth is!

 

Without a cash injection relegation is an ever increasing threat!!!!!

And dare I say it, but if the club actually got some advertising in, there might be a bit of money to get another player in.

Advertising and supporters pledges will only raise small amounts in the short term and it appears that the club have done little if nothing with advertising this year.

 

If Thames Valley Sports are serious about managing the finances of the club I hope they have the money to do it, otherwise it is just ego and wild dreams that may end up doing more damage than good.

 

If TVS is serious about its position lets see some cash from them rather than trying to milk the trust for every penny.

 

As a trust member I dont want to see money I put in disapering into a black hole, I feel the club should be transparent and clearly show the trust and its members where the money is being spent. This way the Trust and its members will be more likly to to raise larger amounts of funds to assist the club with finances.

Perhaps some of that 10K could be used to bring in a couple of players.

Given the fact it has been pushed onto the club by the trust, it would be nice to know exactly how that money is being used, but I'm not holding my breath.

Who is this "we" you are referring to? It is the Club's job to try and attract sponsorship. Offers of help and leads have been rebuffed in the past. The tiny amount of sponsorship we already show at the ground has come directly from supporters.

Agreed, i was politely told to mind my own business last season so obviously we have more than enough money floating about.

I am manager of Tummies and yes we have asked the owner if he would be interested in sponsoring but we are an independant restaurant and don`t have money for sponsorship, all the people that are playing the prediction league I went round and got money from, just the like the 2 shirt sponsors in the programme of Eddie and Westy was done by individuals from the restaurant. plus we have donated a meal for 2 worth £50 to the match day raffle, which i still need to tell claude about actually! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

OK, fair play to Tummies, they're getting involved in some ways, let's look at getting relationships with some other companies as well.
