With the next round of the FA Trophy coming up & with both Thanet teams being at home & with two possible juicy ties to be had (assuming Dover get through) is there no way both clubs can arrange something whereby one club play on the saturday and the other on the Sunday, or an earlier kick-offs on the day for one match. Surely the following of all these four clubs would be magnificent and by having both games NOT played at the same time would bring in a good income for BOTH Thanet clubs. Kicking off at the same time will not only mean a battle to get supporters but a loss of sizeable attendances and revenue for BOTH clubs.
No disrespect to Dartford as I think now they have a great chance of meeting us in the next round and even if it be they who face us different kick off times would surely still be beneficial to all concerned. Is there no way an arrangement can be made. I know I would like to see both games if it was possible. That would mean my entrance fee at the least going to both clubs. What do others think.Would you go to both games if it were possible to do so.

Yes, I have quoted my own original post on this thread and too many people are getting carried away with this "police" thing. My intention on this subject was to debate ways or means in our own minds as to how, apart from the clubs involved and the FA this could be achieved. It proberbly wont happen but as I said its a shame that we cant see both games in the one day or over two days. The police thing was merely to mention that their involvement, for whatever reason,if at all, could be a way round the problem. Everyone is getting carried away with the "police" thing. Lets forget that shall we!
I was just really pointing out what a shame it will be for both clubs to have to play simultaneously thereby not getting the maximum attendance and income from such, not to mention us,the local fans being denied watching both games. Maybe I shouldnt have brought the subject up in the first place.Maybe I should have directed my thoughts to both clubs for their attention rather than on here.Forget the police for goodness sake.Too many people are taking this "police" thing too literally.
