very strong performance today against a team that we know will play until the end in their robust style...running out comfortable 0-4 winners with goals from billy holland...danny heale (2) and nooboy timmy hamblin..billy also missed another penalty....

noo goalie played and michael was there to support us looking for the jersey...well done mike...glen golby my MOM who dealt with everything easily...120 urchins turned up and are still in the hullbridge bar having a talent competition...nice friendly welcome to boot...

top of the league still and an excellent and workmanlike performance..

well done all... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Difficult to name MOM - several possible candidates. But I think I am right in saying that Danny Heale set up a new record today - he has now scored in the last six games that he has played in (he did not play against London APSA) - and, yes, I know it is a different league, but this beats Wayne Purser's record of five in a row.

Special mention also to Billy Holland - he has looked a bit lacking in confidence recently when it comes to scoring, but he made two of the goals today (he won the penalty and it was his excellent pass that led to Hambley scoring, and of course he featured in the build up for the second Danny Heale goal, and of couse he scored the first himself.

And a particular mention to the new Hullbridge grandstand, which is a great improvement on their old one.

On reflex action!

Agreed a great turnout and competition at last to the Urchin choir, the Hullbridge boys band which I thought gave us all a good larf.

Well done to the lads on the pitch that's 3 games against the Hulls and 4 goal margin each time, a model of consistency.

Good move putting Kingy in midfield where his strength has shone through.

Also a good debut from Hicky and Tim and yes I must also mention the support from Michael, well done mate you're a diamond.

Glen Golbs my MOM as well.

Jason Roberts ? who needs him!

Special mention for Sherry in the bar, worked her socks off and so the Urchin bandwagon rolls on, Dockers on Tuesday Basildon Bond next week, who was there the last time we played them?
