I think it is the option of speed and trickery on the ball that he offers, Chris. He is only very young, but has obvious talent.

But I cannot see how he can develop just through attending training, and he could offer us some very useful speed and attacking verve as a substitute late on, when some of the defensive heavyweight big blokes we play against are tiring.

But we might never know unless we see him run out sometime.

 

Still a good result today, job done and let's hope we can maintain this on to the next round.

Good report apart from 2 things:

1. Their bloke got sent off for attempting to kick Warren Ryan not James Donavan.

2. The third sub was Sesay, although the PA system around the ground was even worse than it had been before, after Remy's first shot nearly ripped it off the wall, so you would have never heard the sub announced.

All in all a solid performance from the gate, Sacha looked particulary good in midfield linking up well with Keister( who looked very much at his best). Charlie looked solid as a rock in goal and caught everything that came his way, even in the second half with the low sun right in his face! Leon and Adolf linked up well upfront and even though Leon ended up with 2 goals, Adolf put in the better performance, managing several superb runs (one of which ended in him being brought down for the penalty) Ian was brought on but didnt really impress and Ellis looked as though given another 10 minutes he would surely score.

Oh hell yeah the burgers were 9/10! Very nice indeed a bit expensive at £2.50 though, and as for the liquid refreshments, well nice bar with a big screen tv,shame they didnt have sky. There was also a fair selection of Coke, Lemonade etc availible in the burger bar. Very small service hatch but very quick service.
