While queuing at the newsagent for my copy of 'Crochet Monthly', I caught sight of the back page of the St Albans Observer.

 

Colin Lippiatt offered no excuses for Tuesday night. "We were beaten by the better team. There are no excuses, if I had one I would give it to you."

 

The services of Obewale Obelewalejabi are no longer required. 10 minutes was enough on Tuesday evening apparently. The Manager will not look to extend the loan period of Peter Castle who returns to Reading. Colin is looking for a player who will be with us for the rest of the season, if he can't find one with yeller/blue blood in his veins. He hopes to announce two new signings who will make their debut at Sutton on Saturday.

 

Don't predict Lee Clarke to score the first goal against Sutton as he is out injured but he will return for the Thurrock game next week. Simon Martin is O.K. and Nick Roddis returns from suspension for the week-end.
