Just had an email in from Roy about this. Roy spoke with a few supporters on Tuesday evening regarding the £2 discount for either set of fans attending the others matches and he was told that this still stands and has never been otherwise since the agreement.

 

Steve Rowlands and Peter Simpson (Match Sec. & Chairman of Windsor respectively), never saw any problems with this.

 

Slough season ticket holders would pay £6.00 to watch Windsor (their admission is £8) and W&E supporters pay £5 to watch Slough (we charge £7). The only criteria is that supporters must show their valid season ticket when paying.

 

Hope this clears it up.

I'm also the club secretary not match secretary and I've never said I didn't see any problems with the arrangement, apart from that you're not far wrong though LOL.

All joking aside though, I will be talking to Mr Simpson tomorrow about this as there does seem to be some confusion over who's said what and we need to clarify the situation.
Whatever the outcome it wouldn't apply to tommorrow's game as it's an FA competition so everyone pays full price which I'm sure you will all understand, especially as you wil get to see 'The Crab' back in action again!

I did wander why Woody was curled up in a flag for most of the second half.

 

It was good to see the boys behind the goal making some noise (first half anyway) however we were a bit put off by the amount of bad language coming from certain people behind the goal, I can definitely understand where the unhappy Tiverton fans were coming from.

Emma did express the same concerns after the match. I did hear a few choice words from the perch, but not too extreme.

Certainly not the same 'family' atmosphere we have behind the goal.

Err, yeah. Stand behind the goal when a player is taking his time, or injured and it's not too much different. Perhaps there's a bit more reason for it, but certainly the language isn't too dissimilar.

I heard the C word at least 5 times (mainly towards the assistant referee and the guy was very pissed) and the Uxbridge number 4 called Sue a slapper! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bigshock.gif" alt="" />

Who was the very pissed guy then? That could include most of us behind the goal to be brutaly honest.

Ryan Williams came on a sub for Burnham yesterday in the 2 - 0 FA Trophy victory over Yate Town from the Premier Division and were good value for it. (Matty Miller also came on, made a brilliant break leaving the defence standing but missed the resulting one-on-one with the goalie - took too much time!)

Sorry Woody but I cant believe you didnt think your fans language was out of order "Family" section or not. As Dom said the C word was used so many times it was dreadful and completely uncalled for. We can all swear at the best of times but some words just shoudn't be heard especially that ONE.

I think the drunk was the Windsor fan who thought it was really funny that Thugsbridge thought they had scored, the joke was on him though when he realised that they had and it was now 1 - 1.

Mind you he might not of been drunk he could of just been his usual daft self!!!
