I've watched this goal several times and it is even better than I originally thought. The cross comes in from the right early. The three defenders get sucked across leaving Dean Palmer to sneak free at the near post. His superb back heel enabling Tony Howard to strike right footed with his head over the ball, low into the far corner. A great goal which i am using to teach my daughter how to play proper football.

Thanks to Ted!!!! Any chance of seeing Tony's hattrick?

Afraid not. Thought it was Budd who backheeled, an indication of the quality of using a camera to take videos--- I have recently got a small digital camera, which I use at matches to find out what works well and what doesn't. It has a 15 second video capacity, but to use it I have to look through the camera lens, and I don't see very much, so when the going gets exciting, I forget and end up videoing my feet. Have some nice shots of walls, peoples backs, and attacks going nowhere though. My only other worthwhile shots come from the uxbridge match--a goalmouth melee, and Sammy's saved penalty. The quality of these is not brilliant due to it being nighttime, but I'll send them to Gary and let him decide if they are worth showing. I have a few from the Barking match, but the last time I played them I fell asleep--watching it once was enough. For those interested in photography, photos are of excellent quality though. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/director.gif" alt="" />
