Even though it was a great result yesterday,and yes Tony Boot done very well(as you all know I don't think he's big enough or good enough),having congratulated all the lads on a tremendous performance,I would remind everyone that to win the league is far more important,regardless of the prize money involved,and at the moment Northwood are getting away.So even though I would relish a good cup run,we must win all our league games that suffer because of this cup run.And no I am not a doom and gloom merchant,more a realist.

for 30 years service (ha Ha) you dont know a good footballer when you see one waiting to watch you eat 'Humble Pie' your comments sound very much like someone who has not got a clue about football. Were you there ??????? or somewhere else. we all see tony boot take slough through to the next round (or am I wrong)

Agree that the league is a priority, but disagree about Tony Boot as he has been playing very well lately.

 

Also just wanted to also say I thought Anthony Howard played very well considering it's only his second match back. It was like he had never been gone. Also Dean Palmer just gets better and better in different positions.

 

Be good to have Metcalfe back for Tuesday though. Be interesting to see who he replaces as I would have thought he would be a certain starter.

 

Anyway here's hoping for a good draw tomorrow. We are one of the lower league sides in the competition now though, so any draw we get is likely to be very tough.
