Realistic...no fact. Comfortable mid table and will improve. Some great performances of late, home and away. Strongest squad I've seen in 42 years following the Fleet. Manager getting team to play attractive football (not just lumping forward like a pub team). Atmosphere improving again at Stonebridge Road and crowds will improve if results continue to be good. Work will be done soon on ground (see official site). Oh and we are all still very proud to be GRAVESEND AND NORTHFLEET.

Unfortunately, its not us regulars (moaners, whingers or whatever you "yes men" call us) that need convincing.

 

We're there every week cheering on the boys - its the stay away fans that need something to bring them through through the gate - maybe a cup run will do it !

Even the bloody road signs just say "Fleet" rather than "Gravesend and Northfleet FC"

 

Do all away supporters really know its our nick name ?

 

Also, us old-uns have noticed that the noisy young boys who surround the drummer boy (god bless them all)chant "Gravesnd" most of the time which seems odd when we are actually in Northfleet in the Ground that was Northfleet United's !

Dover and Dartford drew today which means there needs to be a replay as it was a Trophy match. On occasions like this the replay is normally the following tuesday but with our Forum happening on that night this can not happen so I presume it'll be on the wednesday?
