if it is true, then i think it is so unfair. he has not got any money as only 41 turned up for their last home game against staines and most of them were proberly away supporters. he had got together a very young side that, were not getting results yet but were playing very good football. the thing he really wanted was time and patience. he obviously did not get either.

Aint that the way in football, at all levels these days, look what happened to Tony Choules at Leyton. What on earth directors expect is quite beyond me.

 

It has to be said that Redbridge's very existence must be questioned, Barkingside must get bigger crowds at their shared ground.

i think you are right there. one thing that comes to mind is that are mark read's threat to resign as manager of romford and he admittted he was approached by 2 clubs, was redbridge one of them?

aveley are also managerless and they have had a slow start to the season but reached 2 cup finals in the last 2 years and won one of them. but sacking choulsey after 2 games takes the biscuit.

JS didn't stand much of a chance at Redbridge. With no players, money or support, any manager would struggle. Seems like there always has to be a scapegoat though.

I've noticed that Romford have been attracting a few spectators recently, in relation to the rest of our league. Should be interesting when we beat, sorry, meet them.
