Well beaten by a much stronger, physically, side, gave the ball away too easily, never got into our stride, however Clark got injured I did not see as I followed the ball, Ada first booking for being an opposition player in front of a large crowd, seen plenty of Cousins type tackles that dont get a red, Ollie was one of three players in a line so not sure if he was the last man, not a nasty game at all but three sent off, I remember this Ref from previous games, not very good but cannot be blamed for the defeat, just not very neutral, Summed himself up by blowing for time as we shot against the bar from a corner,I thought we played well with 8, better days ahead. Att 1220

A couple of things to add. I thought that the tackle from behind on Lee Clarke was far worse than any of the sending off offences. There again Clarky didn't throw himself to the ground as well as the Kettering bods. Result nothing to do with the ref but his bias towards the home team was extreme.

 

Strange how our only 3 worthwhile efforts on goal were when we were down to 8 men!

 

For me the moment of the night was the Kettering steward telling me that the Saints fans had to be segregated as this was in line with Conference rules. Perhaps someone should tell him that Kettering were relegated 3 years ago. Surreal!

Did exactly the same thing with us when we visited them a couple of seasons ago. Also the segregated area is uncovered, not pleasant if it's raining!!

you should have just told him that you have never and will never be in the conference-that would have been more to the point
