I dont think the attendance was poor, especially as leyton brought about 2 fans.

368 isnt that bad compared to some in this league. you'll always get less people turn up on a tuesday night anyway

Exactly and against what can be described as not a crowd pulling team (Leyton). To put another way look at Chelmo last night, a major FA Cup replay drew 379 odd with 80? or so from Borough I would say that our 368 compares quite favourably considering there were no? away fans. Yes, there was a meaningless England game on tv which could have affected some clarets? But it did not deter the Borough faithful from travelling.

Alas, as with many other clubs, there's always a fair-weather contingent who need few excuses to not attend a game. The weather last night plus England live on the box predictably didn't help the turnout, but great support from Nuneaton for a midweek game - hats off to 'em!

Going off topic a bit, does the club have a half-time policy regarding the free-loaders that sneak in at half-time?

Having seen our 2nd half performances this season I would be more worried about people sneaking out at half time!

'Whats the half time score? 2-0 up... think I'll go home'

Perhaps they should do an extra lap of the cones?

Ryan who are the freeloaders who come in at half time. We keep turnstyles open until just prior to half time and often get quite a considerable number of late entries who pay same as anyone (if you arrive at the pictures late it still costs the same) but if this is a trend with some regular late comers identify them and I will be happy to collect their money. Remember the club gets the gate receipts to help run your club.

Personally I think the problem is that some turn up as the second half kicks off - (eg) if we are kicking toward the changing room end goal there is a "noticeable" increase in personell behind the goal from that of the first half. (And you can tell who have not been at the game) - Not by faces but by how they speak. It is a difficult thing to police, but IT is frustrating for fans who have either paid full entrance, or hold season tickets.

There is not an easy answer to this - Because no-one who is either an official or just an ardent supporter wishes to miss part of a game just to watch Blunts Wall Road coming and goings.

Perhaps?? someone knows someone who has no real interest in footie but would be prepared to take some dosh (eg) £2-£3 off "freeloaders" and in return receive some free drink or something - I don't know...But yes, the club is potentially losing capital in this scenario.
