as for the dumb sh1t supporters who gave the ref stick at the end when he played almost 8 minutes extra time - don't come back, spend your money elsewhere. If you can't see that for 75 minutes we were shapeless, gave away two soft goals, couldn't string three passes together then you've got no business watching the team. In fact certain sections of our support constantly getting on the ref's back because he doesn't give us a decision is making me wonder why I bother turing up week in, week out. We were [****!!****], we've been [****!!****] all season and I don't see where or when it's going to get better

After Woodruffe went off injured I knew we were screwed... we lost all shape at that point. To be fair to Ian Lovegrove, he coped fairly well in unfamiliar territory but I would have thought the obvious choice would have been Paget.

Very concerning that we can't seem to get shots away on goal, even when the referee gave us every chance by playing an incredible amount of stoppage time. In fact it was Steve Daly with the closest effort in the dying minutes. But Staines are a good side and will finish in the play-offs I would think.

Also concerning that we may be down to the bare bones of the squad now.

Only 1(one) shot on target all game and that was the goal.

We knew it was teflon hands Allaway, but we did nothing to presure him - sorry only one thing that worried him and it went in.

A defence that leaks goals and no effective attack, with a stand off mid field - looks like we are going down with windsor!!!!!

At least look on the bright side - were still above windsor at the momment!

Don't be daft. There are basic errors happenning on the pitch that the players should know without being told i.e.

1)If your a defender you don't leave a gap of five or six yards between you and the man your supposed to be marking.

2) The same if your in midfield, if you keep backing off you concede the middle of the park and end up getting over run which puts more pressure on the defence.

3) When you have 3 central defenders and a simple cross is played into your area at least one of you has to try to jump and head the ball away.

4) If you don't have a shot for the entire game and only one cross of any quality is put into the opponents box, you are not going to score many goals.

sorry mate if the manager cannot get his players to play then its his fault and he ought to sort it.

I thought Staines had a good well organised defence but we desperately lacked penetration. We would get within twenty yards (or in Mason's case a lot closer) of the goal and start to turn backwards. This is a problem in a game were you are trying to outscore the opposition.

We have to face facts the budget has been cut and I don't think Eddie is going to be able to add too much to the squad. It is going to be a struggle this season. If some supporters are not prepared to see us lose any games they should stop coming. Also I think it would be better if we put our energy into supporting the team rather than booing/slating former players. (CJ is one of the few exceptions to this rule and that is only because we paid for his op and then he left).

As for the ref last night - best we have seen this season IMO. Yeah he got decisions wrong they all do but he took note of the time wasting and played 8 added minutes - we could not have asked for any more and we failed to take the opportunity for a point when it came along.

Disagree. Thought they looked like a strong, well drilled outfit who played some good football with powerful forward running. Not quite in Hampton's class, but a good side none the less. All depepnds on when their budget is cut - i.e. if they're not in contention in February, it usually leads to them slashing their budget for the remainder of the season.
