some very good performances last night from will dunlop, coxy and adam wallace. after saturday's goal, u can see how much adam has grown in confidence and he's out in two very very good performances oin the last two games. all we have to do now is put what we have done in the first half, into the second half, and also score more from the chances we create!

Well done to all the managers who have seen that there is local talent about as Will Dunlop is a WEFC reserve who plays for Spital on Saturdays,Pity that Dom wasnt persuaded to stay in the ressies as he went straight into Magpies first team and has played every game for them. im sure with the way the ressies commit themselves to the red and green shirt it wont belong before Dave has to call on a few more to shake the comfy first team nest up a bit.

Will came into the side on Monday alot earlier than he was expecting i bet. He did himself proud and looks like one for the future.

 

First half on Monday was without a doubt the best we have played in ages. Second half was like another side came out to play and that's what made the loss even harder to take. Get behind the lads on Saturday and then as many as possible go to Leyton for a big game ( For the second time this season!!!)

Ressies lost for the first time this season against almost the entire first team of Redbridge. WEFC injury jinx is spreading through the club......Promising players Chad Edwards and Daryl McVey been out all season, and still a long way from fitness; From the impressive back three, Richard Sanford and Tom Woodcraft both went off injured and could be out for several weeks....17 year old Jack Woodcraft broke his leg in a school match and will miss most of the season.

Ressies had half a dozen players missing but still played some good stuff at times but made individual errors which got punished. On another day might have beaten this lot who are not good enough for Ryman Premier. WEFC first team will surely get six points from them.

What must WEFC do to have lady luck on their side, yet more injuries in the reserves and all seem long term, why not approach local football players for help.Spital FC.Old Windsor FC, Wraysbury FC Im sure they have players good enough for the reserves,not much to ask to play Wed and Sat for young lads who are keen, after all thats how Will Dunlop is playing for reserves, advertise in local paper to attend training,let managers run the eye over them. after all First XI is stuggling to pick a side and none available to play for ressies.but should be available to gain match fitness in ressies when ready not straight back in to first team action. Any positives for ressies up against Redbrige 1st 11

Think anyone who went to see the ressies last year and this can tell we've invested abit more in local and young talent. Clearly some are not ready to go into the first team but they are young and give them a few years and i'm sure you will see a few of them make the grade ( Will looks very good already)

 

Let's remember White and Gomis have already come from the Ressies in the last two years and have gone to a higher level.

yes but not our first XI, we let them both go to a better standard than Ryman and they were showing promise in our reserves for our future.

 

who updates the stats ,leauges.etc.on the webb?

Still no news in the local papers about reserves,list of injuries ect.its about the club not just first team results keep your fans informed they havent all got PCs
