HEY- i've lived in Enfield all my life and still couldnt name the road around the corner from me!

 

Is it near Hoddesdon? Ware? Broxbourne? there the only 3 places i know in Hert.

Decent bloke Alex but he knows how people feel down there,if he's got any savey he'll jump ship aswell cause it aint the price of the booze or the football thats worth staying for.Only one other reason he could be staying and thats after all his loyal years perhaps his hopeful they'll offer him the managers job in a months time once super Toms been sacked after all Alex did make this seasons team photo. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/rasta.gif" alt="" />

I spoke to Ivan and debbie in the leigion and they said they'd had enough. Also paul phillips has left so I was told . Sounds like things are coming to a head. Alex will never Jump ship that clubs his life and soul.

Trouble with that place is theres too many people that think their top dog and that included Ivan and Debbie,yet people like Alex are worth their weight in gold,grafts his cods off and all the others take the rise out of him.Still it'll be nice to have a change and see people with a smile on their faces(at least before k.o.)eh.

shame whats happened to chesunt, i went to watch last season, wasnt many there, although i guess Mr Bat pushed the attendence up a bit. Graeme was still playing there though, but it started raining so i started playing pool.

Seem's strange that this Cheshunt thread is developing on the Town forum but i must admit i am a bit disappointed with the season so far.

Off the pitch things are not too clever and on the pitch we are not looking that good either. The support at home games has been very poor, if it wasn't for away teams bringing a decent amount we wouldn't break the 100 mark.

But i'm sorry to disappoint you Townie's but as much as you would LOVE to see me at Brimsdown i'm going to stick with the ambers.

Junior - the Essex League has Sawbo as an Essex Club but Sawbridgeworth is in reality in Hertfordshire.

As for the planes- Stansted Mountfitchit is not in the flight path for the Planes- Sawbo and Harlow are. Planes take off towrds Dunmow and circle round over loughton- They Land via Harlow/ Sawbo depending on the wind- ( Am I sad or what???)
