Lowly Leamington FC, a team brought back from the dead and run by the supporters have a player in the FA Cup's player of the round.

 

Please would all Slough supporters rouse themselves as they did for Alex haddow and vote, helping Alex Rodman win the player of the round.

How do we know he actually played well and is worthy of a vote?

Quite right, anon.........if we voted without having seen him play, or any of the other nominees, that would be tantamount to manipulating the vote and we couldn't do that on the official FA website, could we?

Because he scored twice for a club two levels below Slough against a side that out Conference South Redditch United in the previous round

And Leamington, like Slough, lost their ground when it was sold from under them after they had won the Southern league. They took 13 years to even start playing again so I'd hope you'd support a club that that has happened to. It could well be Slough Town next and I'm sure you'd want their support if roles were reversed.

I read about him in the Sun on Monday, the lad has just started university, but missed out on a lot of the excesses of freshers week because of his football.
