I have notice that since the forum has been registered only that there are loads of new people on the forum i would like to welcome everybody.

The forum seems to be working alot more throughly

Thanks for those words Dave. I only registered grudgingly, but I admit I was wrong; the forum has really improved and I have only seen one idiot posting since it became registered only (there's always one, isn't there?).

I think it is much better, Dave, but then it was preaching to the converted.

The majority of people who come on here want to discuss football, in particular our team, and we can do without the other stuff.

I am very pleased we have had some new people join, they are very very welcome, it can only be good for the forum to have as wide a mix of views as possible, and much less of the mindless insults.

Not just genuine MFC fans. What about genuine GNFC fans, who also happen to be Kentish football fans (except Gillingham).

I didn't mean you Wellzie! There have been interesting opinions and comments in all the threads since we went reg only. The more varied the views the better. Wouldn't it be dull if we all agreed with each other? I am also fascinated by the wildly different opinions people have of some of the players - I will certainly look at Sesay a bit harder next time he appears.

Re Chatham Gary's comment earlier: a couple of weeks ago I was talking to a Rams official. We agreed the best thing for local football would be to see everybody playing at Step 1 level of non-league, ie. Margate, Rams, Fleet, Chatham, Dover, Folkestone, Gillingham...
