Just a thought. Would it make sense for Margate FC to do their training at Hartsdown Park. They would get afeel for the place and maybe gel together abit more.At the moment they turn up about once a fortnight look like strangers playing at an away ground.They may as well be playing at Ashford or Dover for all they seem to care. they shohld be grateful tat thet are playing to one of the best supported club in the Div. At the moment.

I don't think it matters where they train. I think alot of it is due to all the upheavel the team have had over the last few seasons they haven't felt settled themselves let alone been able to gell with each other.

Not only over the past few seasons. we hav'nt had a settledside all this season. This begs the question how many of saterdays team are match fit. The subs certainly can't be. Leon has had such a split season so far that no way can he be. I do not think training at home is practicle at the moment but surely with so many players at varying stages of fitness we could arrange a game or two on a week night at hartsdown. I remember games against Millwall youth ,sittingbourne and i think Tunbridge during the gaaaaaaaaaates last season at home. They also gives the managment a chance to look at any trialist and possibly give a few of the under 18's a chance to show what they can do. I am sure the pitch would stand it at this point of the season.

I posed the question of why they train in Gravesend a short while ago. The response I got was that CK lives nearer there and so do most of the players. (Not sure how true that is).

It is true. I think it may be Strood but the point is that it is much more convenient for the majority of our players who live in the London area.
