Is St Albans really a city? I think it needs two things to gain City Status doesn't it? A HMV and A Waterstones. If it has both of these things I'm willing to accept that it is a City.

Ah brilliant you lot can't take a joke can you?

 

How about this one. A vantriloquist is touring around St Albans (it wasn't a City then as the Waterstones was yet to be built), he toured all the clubs and pubs.

 

One night after he gave the area a real bashing one local a local resident got rather disgruntled standing up starting to heckle the showman.

 

Eventually the vantriloquist stopped his act to confront the angry young man and say "sorry mate it was only a joke".

 

The angry resident replied "you can shut up I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to that little prick on you knee".
