Good crowd today [882] even though about 350 were from Kettering. Shame our front two weren't firing on all cylinders but we can do better on Tuesday. Tom Davis was magnificent today, his best game so far this season, and young Castle looks a great prospect. Bazza kept us in the game first half, two of his saves were out of this world. Come on you Saints, let's rock and roll at Rockingham Road!

Good game to watch for any neutral there, especially the first half. In my opinion, Kettering were one of the hardest, if not the hardest, opponents that we could have pulled out in our section of the draw and yet we are still in the hat for tomorrow. All in all, it was a fair result. I felt we shaded the first half and Kettering the second half. Tom, I thought did well but for me, Bazza was head and shoulders above everyone else on the field.

 

We can definitely still win this tie, make no mistake about that but we must keep it on the floor and use Matt Hann and Mark Graham's pace to get round the back of them. Their central defence will eat up anything in the air, as proved yesterday and in the replay, they will also have the added bonus of Brown's return, particularly in set pieces. Being realistic, chances are probably going to be numbered on Tuesday night so let's hope for some lethal finishing from the Saints strike force.

First time this season we've failed to score, which probably says more about Kettering's defence that anything.

 

Fingers crossed for Tuesday, but I think Kettering will shade it.

Thought that K's shaded the game slightly but felt we could nick a winner if it clicked up front just one time. Should be another even game on Tuesday with some of their players maybe playing for their jobs, nothing seen suggests we cannot win it but it will probably be tight.

Funnily enough, I was about to call them the K's too, until I remembered that's Kingstonian!
