Miserable day - we started brightly for first 5 minutes and at that point I was highly optimistic. They scored against the run of play up to that early point after which we never looked like scoring until Darren came on but by then it was all too late anyway. Caught a picture of the first goal, Charlie seemed to decide it was going to go in so just watched it pass by team really did look like they'd given up after that most of the time. What a blessing in disguise that I couldn't make the game today as it sounds like we were truly awful which is a bit puzzling for an FA cup match with £5,000 at stake and another potential money spinning tie in the next round. Can someone tell me what the team was today (apart from crap, that is!) Heard CK bemoaning the lack of 6 regulars missing through injury/work/etc but said those out there should have done better as they were playing for their places. Thought it would be a tough game today but never envisaged an embarassing walkover from a lower league team. Heard that many fans left well before the end - is this true?
