Goes for anyone and everyone really, but I'm looking at filling in a few missing names from former players and can't for the life of me remember, or it was long before my time of supporting the club and I have no idea.

Have a look at this link:

http://www.sloughtownfc.net/Gary/missing_names.htm

This will bring up the list of missing first names (surnames are all on there ok) and when they made appearances for the first team. This ranges from 98-99 season all the way back to the title winning side of 89-90.

Any assistance on these missing first names would be greatly appreciated. Either reply on here or drop me an email (gary@sloughtownfc.net)

Hi Gary-where did you get those names from-some are as far back as the 60's & 70's and to be honest I have never heard of some, only in opposition ?

Did you just want that sheet that you have compiled filled in ?

They are players which have lined up for Slough from the late eighties (89-90 season) to the 98-99 season. I've got all the line ups, just wasn't sure or didn't know the first names.

If you're sure of the names, then yes please, any you can provide would be greatly appreciated & thanks Don for those missing ones.

Agree with Don's additions, have some more for you. Some were loan players, others members of the then mighty reserve squad. Dominic Barclay, Stuart Cash, Steve Book (was crap for us but went into league with Cheltenham), Matthew Bicknell, Paul Frame (still in goal at Wraysbury ?), Dave "the horse" Kellman (you had to be at the Birmingham cup game to understand), Gary Lester, Tony Nolan(greatly underated centre back), Derek Payne, and Danny Wicks. Should know some more but would be guessing. Plinth will kill me for not remembereing Baynes's first name, was a top guy who never took it too seriously !

Matt Bicknell, from around 1998/99

Simon Line - 1998/99

Michael Thorp - 1998/99

Lee Francis - 1998/99

Gary McVie - a few games in the Conference then stayed in 98/99

For Seymour - I would guess at Chris, though I don't think I ever saw him play.

Just looking at some of the remainders...

Clarke... could that be Dwayne Clarke from the reserves all those years ago?

Smith.. Rob Smith or I recall a Brett Smith from the very early 90s, left winger.

Watt... I remember a Wayne Watts also turning out for us, but not Watt. He was in the same team as Danny Wicks.
