Hello Rebels

 

You may remember me posting after your pre-season blood bath with the delightful Thugsbridge. I just thought that some of you might like to know that they had two sent off in their recent league match with Enfield Town (straight reds, so no messing about there!) One of them was Mr Bamford........ so they really do not learn.

well according to the Enfield Town forum one was for kicking Bryan Hammatt (I don't know the spelling) while he was down, so make your own logical conclusions.

Cant be Stuart Bamford as he is still suspended until tomorrow (7th October 2005) for the 11 game ban where he stamped on Ballards head.

 

Or if he did play then it was in contravention of the ban!!!!!!

I went to the game and it was Gavin Bamford that got sent off for kicking Hammett in retaliation.

It wasn't that dirty a game, but the rash of yellow cards came in the odd melee. When the second Uxbridge player got sent off, there was mass pushing and shoving invilving about 10 players. One Enfield supporter shouted out "Where's Stuart Bamford when you need him"

Damn, wrong Bamford!.......you can understand why I assumed though ;-) He was suspended for our match with them earlier in the season, so Nichols got himself sent off instead. What a man, what a club. Anyone been to a game where Uxbridge finished wih ten men?
