Your loss to cut out all the Anons. Yes some Anons post some crap but quite a percentage of it is more interesting than that posted by the registered group.

 

I think the forum will wither. Sorry!

I am an anon, I have posted on various subjects have never been rude nor offensive to any one.My most recent was earlier this evening about what I think is the current problem( if there is a problem) with youngsters in the youth section.I was complimented by some one called Tony M saying it was a good posting.Another called Margate Fan said mine was a good point.To use a cuurent issue as an example I will say that at last nights match there may have been problems with certain individuals,but they were sorted and in the future any problems will be dealt with without bans,expulsions or what ever.As with this forum surely anything untoward can be deleted, why ban some of us myself included who have not got a PC of their own and have to use others I use two or three,sometimes without there knowledge, but they are not my own.I must be honest ,I think it is a form of censorship.I am very dissappointed,especially as this is the first posting I have made on this forum where I have been a little bit annoyed and maybe to some have come across as a bit of a stirrer or trouble maker.Nothing could be further from the truth.It is such a pity it will be my last.Gentlemen I believe the forum will be poorer,but more importantley WEAKER Just when every one is working so hard to make all aspects of the club stronger. IMO it is a backward step. Hope I have not offended anyone! Sincere apologies if I have!! But can you still use some one elses pc without their knowledge.I hasten to add only for this.I will find a way.Know any good deals going on pcs at the moment. Good posts "new sensible annon". Pity you decided to pick today of all days to begin posting as your remarks may have made a difference to this poll and this outcome. However Dave and others are correct in what they say though as for using other computers I couldnt comment.Am sure they are correct though.It was the "BAD" annons that did this so dont take it personnally.

This may work,it may not, but its a road that has been coming for a long while now and if others want to post they can still do so by REGISTERING.

As others have said its easy(even I managed it) and dont forget to tick that box at the bottom as it keeps you logged in all the time,even when you turn off your computer and when you turn it back on.There will be no need to log in again if you tick that box(keep me logged in all the time).

Works for me.Please join us and let us know your particular name if and when you do register as we can then tell who the "sensible annon" was.

Obviously there were other sensible annons and its a pity that those who abused the anonymous tag have ended up spoiling it for others.

I wish we had remaine unregistered as we did get reasonable number of valued posts from anoms.

 

It is important to keep a balanced view.

 

But hey, democracy rules so be it.

 

I think we now need a concerted effort to promote the forum and get as many anoms. as possible to register where they still remain anom except to the moderators.

 

There is a danger as 'last post' from anom points out that forum could 'wither'.

 

I will miss the posts from other clubs fans to give a balanced view.

Again,maybe at top of forum there should be an easy 'frozen' step by step guide to registering.

 

We really need to get more posters and thus more people to register to add value to all debates

Congratulations on having the balls to make your site registered only.

 

This is an issue I have fought for on the Slough Town FC forum. But we still have the Anon morons posting, putting utter rubish and stiring the s**t, including slagging players off using the anonimity of being unregistered.

 

Well done for this sensible move

We did have several sensible annons posting, but majority were coming on just to wind people up, so the sensible ones have missed out. We registered users all hope that they will think about registering as their comments are valued.

 

Hope U manage to get your site sorted as well

Since going registered only, my personal feeling is our debates have become somewhat more intelligent and reasoned. We still argue, but the abuse, vitriol and racism has all but vanished.
If the anons are bona fide, they will register, if they are only out to cause trouble, they will lose interest and dissappear.

Well done for taking a bold and brave decision.
