Mitten - Exceptional save in first half. Was excellent all game and looked safe as houses.

Brown - Played a good game.Excellent going forward

Deen - Again a solid dislpay.

Edwards - Good game.Went off injured.

Smith - Played well.Got involved and worked well.

Ryan - Brilliant.Always looking good on the ball and great work down the flank and good cross for first goal.

McGowan - Quiet game. Took goal well.Another one good coming forward.

Sacha - Quiet game but ran his socks off all match and won many headers despite his size.Taken off for tactical reasons.(proberbly knackered too after all his efforts).

Braithewaite - Tried hard but nothing of note..Always giving his all.

Remy - Didnt do a lot tonight,dissappointing.

Standen - Again a couple of good balls but often playing too deep and wanders a lot from his position, hence our problems down the left.Needs improvement.Puts in the effort though.

Amaoto - Looked lively and will do well in time.Pacy and good on the ball.

Burke - Played well when coming on in defensive roll. Showed up well down the left & when coming forward to support front men.

Hilaire - Didnt have a lot of time on the pitch to impress.

All the above comments relate to the second half mainly as in the first half it would have been stopped had it been a boxing match.

Second half effort all round and a completely different side. Unlucky not to have secured a win in the end.

I thought Mitten had a good game tonight, although kicking not as good as recent matches (however throwouts good). The workrate was good thoughout the team, with Ryan worth a mention, and also Brown playing out of position. For me MOM was new man Amoako, who made the attack that led to the goal, and looked lively throughout the second half. Ref Woodward was good too. Any news on Bill? Hope he can play Saturday as probably we won't be able to play Smith.

Agree Cookies comments. But I thought McGowan got well stuck in. Also agree it is a bit difficult to work out Standen's position. I thought he played several very poor balls back into the area when we were following up corners.

CK has found a gem, Warren Ryan going to be a star of the future , also like to see Remy and Adolph play togther up front could become an exciting partnership .

it is a pity Smith is only on loan,Smith,Ryan and Kola across the back would be better than any other at this level. On tonights performance i cant see how Dean Standon can start ahead of Burke on saterday. The main objection i have is his reluctance change gear from back off to tackle mode. tonight in the 1st half we didnt chasethe loose ball,i lost count of the times our guys gave upon balls heading out only to see it pulled of the line by a opposition player and leaving him with space and time. The new guy looks good very fast, very direct.I know it was another draw, but we are begining to see the light with the squad. The future is bright the future is MAAAAARGATE.

The general opinion last night was that we were playing too narrow. We have teriffic pace with some of the players who out-ran the opposition last night on a number of occasions. We need to play out wider and run at the opposition, although it was better second half. The other comment was that we didn't push enough bodies up when taking corners. When Billericay had corners they packed the 18 yd box with players. On one of our corners we had 3 players in the box. Its alright saying we need to defend but if we have players in their area they need to be marked.

I agree too Margateshot. I said too a mate I was standing with we lacked width last night on both flanks. Something Greg gives us when he plays as did Green. Amaoko started pulling their defence all over the place in 2nd half by going down right side. Shame he is cup tied on Saturday. Once again tho I think Warren was excellent, hence one of my fave players already

I think we always, without exception, miss Greg when he does not play. He adds so much to our options out wide, and his skill in winning impossible balls and then making just the right cross in is what we lacked last night.

I do have to say that Burke, when he came on, was doing similar things on the other side. He seemed to create acres of space, and his crosses in were very reminiscent of Clarkey. I would like to see more of that young man.

Margateshot, I agree totally with your opinion of Ryan. That stunning run in the first half nearly did for this old biddy's blood pressure.

Is Remy injured do we know? On form it would probably be Remy and Amoako up front on Saturday but if Remy is unable to start then Leon hopefully can get a goal to give him a confidence boost. To be fair to him his (half) chances on Tuesday weren't easy.

Porka, I think Amoako is cup tied having already played for Bromley so if Remy is injured then it is down to Braithwaite and Watson. We will be short at the back as well as Edwards will certainly be missing and I noticed Ryan was limping quite badly towards the end of the game. Also Smith unlikely to feature to prevent him from being cup tied for Gravesend.Don't know if Oates will be available but on the face of it we definitely need him. This cup game is looking tougher by the minute.
