As well as enjoying a curry with my Essex chums, I also found a good 2-3 hours to spend in the bar with Pete and buying him drinks etc.

 

Tonight's gig is now 50/50. The bank wouldn't let me have any cash this morning which is absurd as I only got paid ten days ago. Even I couldn't have blown the entire lot inside ten days.

Just phoned the bank. It was a big credit card payment I made, coupled with the new printer I bought.

 

No cash for the rest of the month, with three loads of rent to pay.

 

Time for another phone call to mother!

Blow it all by having a mid-life crisis, CANV. It's a biggie next year, is it not?

 

Start by buying a ridiculously expensive sports car (okay, so you've got one of them already) and a motorbike (so you've got one of them too), and eventually work your way up to a yacht.

 

Of course, to have a successful mid-life crisis, you'll need to get yourself an earring and start wearing band t-shirts from the 70s. A Clash one and a Jam one should do it.

good thinking.. but acsess to many expense accounts and a career encompassing the worst excesses of the late 80's and 90's has left me feeling a tad empty on that front.. boats are great but after about 30 minutes really boring.. no more sports cars for me due the missus desire to own a big dog.. motorbikes im up to two now n looking at a third but i get p.ssed off with the the paperwork.. (yes i am that lazy).. still got the hole from a early 80's ear ring , pretty sure i can get something through that again..

maybe a 'choose life' or 'relax' tee shirt to totally avoid any potential retro coolness.. im struggling otherwise though..

sking takes up some of the slack but i need a new outlet.. no artistic talent at all.. fk it ill have to stay at work untill they fire me..

i have never liked rollers.. though that new bentley coupe trans continental tourer thing looks tasty... i just cant bring myself to p.ss money on cars, they do nothing for me at all...

i have upon reflection decided to wait until the kids can be left home alone then travel the world in 'off peak' luxury.. naturally i will not be straying from the beaten tracj.. i have no intrest in seeing any of the 'real' country.. i just want the tourist bit with 6 star hotels, mutli channel sky t.v., air con and my own sun lounger..
