A few thoughts from the Accy game

Made my 1st long away trip this season Saturday & it was certainly worthwhile.

Despite being a (very good) goal down & with both Jukebox & Jacko off injured, I thought we did superb to get something from the game.

Sodje was a revelation, took his goal well & might have scored or created another. Can't wait to see more of him. Don't forget our other sub Ben Surey who fitted in well on right side of midfield. We haven't seen a lot of him recently but he's still an important player. I thought Jay was superb & the 2 centre halves stood up to all those 2nd half corners & are looking a very solid defensive duo.

1 other point, nice to see hardly a bad tackle or misdemeanour in the game from either side. How often can we say that in the Conference?

Looking forward to Saturday & if everybody's fit Liam has an interesting selection to make.

On the subject of fitness is there any news on Jako and Jukebox...?

Jako still make our kit as far as I know.

 

Jukebox limped off the pitch as opposed to Jacko who was carried off in discomfort. I would expect him to be out for a while, Jukebox should hopefully be back soonish.

It's useful that we have a whole week now to recuperate rather than a random midweek game.
