Well The Darkness probably need some help selling records. You kind of get the feeling that when they release the new material nobody is actually going to be too bothered about them!

They should have rush-recorded a second album whilst on the crest of a wave.

 

They had the Christmas single in 2003 which was great, but instead of releasing a new single the following March (2004), they just released a further song from Permission To Land (Love Is Only A Feeling).

 

It's been 18 months since then, and I'm not sure who will be too interested now.

They played a fair bit of new stuff when I saw them last December but no new album seems to be in the offing.
