You only have to look at the Windsor vs Staines attendance from a couple of weeks ago to see that a large number of Staines fans can't even be bothered with a journey of 7 miles or so to see their team play.

Although i wasn't at that game i'll never forget Staines at home last season. They had 3 people behind the goal. Yet they had 4 flags!

Staines' average home gate this season is 275. The only team they've played at home who one wouldn't expect to bring many fans, is Fisher.

If we assume that's between 225 and 250 'home' fans, I would have thought that at least 100 of them would be willing to make a 15-20 minute journey to Stag Meadow (on a Saturday) to see their team play - but that's not the case.
