OK performance against a weak side but need to be more disicive if they are going to beat better sides.

thought West was rubbish, & when he was replaced Miller's pace caused problems & ultimately killed them off.

 

Was Seedel injured, he was missewd badly ?

Rubbish maybe a little harsh but I thought West was ineffective too. Given that Seedel and Hodges doesn't seem to work I'd like to see Miller and Hodges as Josh's pace caused problems again like it did in the second half at East Thurrock.

agree that calling Wst rubbish is harsh, he got himself involved, although the poor lad did miss a few sitters.

Couldn't agree more about the Miller/Hodges partnership, i really think that that os the way forward.

Re: Seedel, someone mentioned personal problems to me? No idea if this has been verified but hope he's ok.

Thought Woodruffe and Metcalfe looked good (again) today, its just a shame it took 45 mins o get the team going.

Although we pretty much dominated second-half still think we were still pretty average. But i'll take a 4-1 win every week playing average! Maldon are going to struggle going on that performance.

decent second half, shame about the first, west looked off the pace but had some good times, miller looked v good when he came on

motm gotta be woody he looked v good not sure if he needed to come off though

Paul if you want a programme come to the game.

 

First half we were pretty poor against a dreadful Maldon side. Got into second gear in the second half and managed to beat them easily. If we had played well it could have been truly embarassing. I thought West did quite well actually given that he has a knackered knee and is in his mid to late thirties. Could have had a hat trick with a bit more luck.

 

Miller always looks lively but I did not think he had many goals in him. Nice to be proved wrong! He certainly looks a decent prospect and I think Miller-West-Hodges could work in combination.

Thought westy played very well considering his age which by the way is nearer to 40,he put himself about and did make a difference.As for mets,not convinced,gives the ball away more often than not.Good thing is that we won well after going down to a team that did pretty well in the first half.

Thought Woody and Ballard were class.... Josh had two superb finishes, Mets looked good too. Very good 2nd half but 1st half we looked poor. Still concerned about Hodgey and esp Parkin's hair! I think on that performance we should start Miller next match!
