Sat at work (cover duty) all day. Listened to Radio Kent. Score was 1-0 to us all afternoon. Results stage no mention of our score.

Was getting pissed off not knowing. Knew there was only a few minutes left.Then I heard we had got a point.

Felt despondent at first but afterwards, happy despite last minute equaliser.

As Tony M says we would have taken a point before the game.

Still slightly dissappointed, though good result anyway. Lets break the bok on tuesday..for real this time!

The goal, a beautiful 30 yard free kick from the wonder Pole.

We played really well today and should have got the 3 points. We had a good structure and shape, and looked much better organised than of late, and indeed looked the superior and more threatening side for most of the game.

Smith outstanding at the back, very influential to the game, didn't half remind me of Ross, Warren Ryan also outstanding, very strong and dominating the left, and of course Daniel, all over the field and a constant threat. Bill very good, Hasim as usual very positive, Oates did some very good wing work, but was playing further back than I like to see him, Standen contributed with some very accurate passing, McGowan solid in the middle, Remy ran and ran, Leon tricky, Charlie made some very good saves. Much better in the air. We sat back too much in the second half, but were not helped by the ref, who loved his whistle and appeared not to rest until he had given the other side every opportunity to get back into the game. We did have other chances, but failed to find the second. Their goal came at the last knockings, a long shot, and I could not see how on earth it went in, but it did.

Woeful refereeing, including one of the most mystifying decisions I have ever seen - Warren picked up the ball and sped off up the wing. One of the Walton lads comes in with a crunching tackle and comes off worse. The linesman flags for a free kick to us, the ref then books Warren and awards the free kick to them. There was a lot of that sort of thing.

Remy took a knock late on, and did not look too good - but he seemed to struggle with a niggle for some time in the second half, and I hope he is OK.

Horrid ground with running track and no atmosphere. Good showing by Margate Fans, good vocals too. Poor home support.
