I see in Fridays NLP that the match review was all about Accy, we had about seven truncated lines right at the bottom of the review. NLP forecast home win. Great stuff Fleet. Fleet underestimated once again by Coleman.

Played well yesterday. Especially 2nd half. Sodje had a good 2nd half too. Shame about Jacko and Drury going off injured, although Drury's didn't look as serious.

Assuming the injuries were as they appeared, and Jacko misses the York game while Jukebox is available for it, it's a good opportunity to bring Jukebox back into midfield and allow Sodje a starting place after his fine display yesterday. Pace and power without being too tall, meaning that he can compete with the defenders physically without having to rely on a diet of aimless long balls.

 

That said, our lack of specialist cover on the left side of midfield remains a concern.

 

A draw was about right yesterday - although, after a lackadaisical short backpass from Grant in the closing moments, we almost ended up with nothing (except heart palpitations, of course).

 

We're unbeaten in five against Accy now - let's just hope we can go on to claim our first home victory against them later on this season.

I can claim full responsibility for the Fleet's comeback - & for those 3 great chances we had at the end of the first half staying out.

 

Realised at half time that I was not wearing my regulation lucky away garments of faded yellow tee shirt & black pants. Immediately put this right & spent the entire 2nd half conveying their powerful influence down the internet connection to sunny Lancashire. The results speak for themselves.
