Dartford 1-6 Gravesend.

Fleet under 18 side looked very good tonight. Approx. 150 in attendance. Some good future players in the side. We are away to Horsham or Saltdean in the next round.

Tonight we beat Saltdean 8-1 AET. Yes it was 1-1 after 90 minutes! Great game of football. Luke Moore and Sam Groombridge played brilliant.

 

Saltdean fans were young, loud and drunk. I have never seen as much abuse at a youth game before tonight.

 

Other than mums and dads of fleet players I was one of two fleet fans. At least the players thanked us for travelling down and for our support.

This is ye another example of us not knowing what is going on.

 

The tannoy system doesnt always work , and when it dies , doesnt give us this type of information.

I think it would be great if on a Monday , Tracey could send a short email with all games at all levels to all those on the email list.

 

After all its money the club needs , and even if its only a few extra at a home reserve game , its a few quid in the bank.
