Recommended Posts

A deluxe edition of this with double CD and Double DVD is available 24th October 2005 (I put the year in as I'm sure it'll be put back...EMI being run by a bunch of tossers).

Included in the extra features are

(on the DVD)

Rehearsal of "If Not For You" - sang by Geroge and Dylan

Rehearsal of "Jumpin' Jack Flash" - sang by Ringo (it was later performed by Edgar Winter (I think - been so long since I've played it).

A couple of Dylan performances that were not included in the original film due to copyright

and....wait for it Zealster, you'll love this....

An interview with Bob Geldof...What the [****!!****]!!! Was he there? [****!!****] no, so why doesn't go [****!!****] off.

I thought you would be happy. Can't wait to view the rehersal footage.

And first week in December the remastered DVD of Let It Be with extra footage of the Beatles rehersing for the Rooftop concert, a BBC interview with Jl and Yoko, the full rooftop concert, loads of extra footage of them running through some rock and roll songs and old Beatles songs that has only been previously seen the light of day on audio vinal or CD. I think I read that there is about an hour of performance footage that hasn't been seen.

I wonder what the extra footage will show though...

That they were still a band or a band breaking up. There is some school of thought that even when they were on their last legs as a group that they were still a band in the true sense. er, if you know what I mean. Macca on occasions, still thought they could carry on. It'll be good to see if the new film endorses this.
